Another celebrity split has hit the ledger; Stevie Wonderhas filed for divorce from his wife of more than a decade,Kai Millard Morris. Well, now we know the how long, but how come they split up?
TMZ says the couple split back in October 2009, and the usual irreconcilable differences are listed in the lawsuit, which was filed by powerhourse divorce attorney Laura Wasser. Wonder signed the document with two fingerprints and his real name, Stevland Morris. He is asking for joint custody of the couple's sons, Kailand andMandla, who are 10 and 7.
He is also agreeing to pay spousal and child support, although there's no indication of how assets will be split. Since Stevie and Kai married in 2001, he was long since rich, so it'll be interesting to see how they carve things up -- and find out the real reason for the divorce.
